TRIPPY TRIANGLE POSE

In Sanskrit, this pose is called Trikoāsana (tree-koh-NAH-sah-nah). Trikoa means “triangle.”

Empower your body, empower your mind, empower the ganja.

1 Stand, legs wide apart, feet flat on the earth.

2 Back foot is positioned with toes pointing out at a 60-degree angle to the front foot.

3 Inner thighs are externally rotated away from each other, lifting pelvic floor.

4 Tailbone tucks slightly and heart lifts.

5 Front arm reaches down to earth while the back arm extends up toward the sky.

6 Arms align with shoulders in a straight line. Feel free to rest your lower hand on your leg for support.

7 Rest gaze up toward sky or down toward earth so that your neck is comfortable.

8 Fingers reach out while shoulder blades squeeze together.

9 Use a block or the wall to help you balance, if needed.

10 Switch sides and repeat.
